I update grades daily.  I recommend checking your child's grades at least once a week in order to help them avoid missing assignments or failing grades.

I allow students to redo any assignment that they receive a poor grade on.  I also allow students to retake quizzes or tests they receive a poor grade on.  The new grade will be reduced by 20%.  Please encourage your child to take advantage of this as it will lead to mastery of the content and contribute to their success in future math classes.

I send home printed grade checks about once a month.  Students are encouraged to share these grade checks with their parents and receive 5 extra credit points if they return the grade checks with a parent signature.
